Remote Term-Based Project Manager - HRIS

Description:  
Mercy Ships, an international organization known for its commitment to providing world-class medical care through hospital ships, is seeking a skilled HR Project Manager to lead the implementation of Ceridian Dayforce HRIS. This role is critical in transforming our HR systems, enhancing our payroll and benefits management, and streamlining our HR processes.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Include But Not Limited To)
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Lead Ceridian Dayforce HRIS Implementation: Drive the full cycle of planning and implementing Ceridian Dayforce HRIS within Mercy Ships.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, HR, and Finance teams to ensure a seamless transition to the new system.
  • Project Management Excellence: Manage project timelines, budgets, and scope, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency across all project phases.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective change management strategies.
  • Problem Solving in Ambiguous Situations: Address and resolve complex challenges, adapting to changing project needs and environments.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Change Management Develop and implement a robust change management strategy to facilitate smooth transitions for end-users impacted by the Salesforce platform expansion.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Requirements)

  • Deep understanding of HR processes and the technical requirements for supporting them in a global organization.
  • Vendor management experience, with a focus on cloud-based HR solutions.
  • Supportive of Mercy Ships mission and vision and committed to its core values.
  • Understand and apply servant leadership, work collaboratively with integrity and demonstrate accountability.

Education And Experience
The requirements listed below are representative of the education and / or experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing HRIS implementations, specifically with platforms like Ceridian Dayforce.
  • Proven ability to manage projects within budget and time constraints.
  • Successful completion of Mercy Ships Entry Training will be required within the first year.
