Remote Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper 

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to provide cross-entity financial support for a high net worth individual with multiple LLCs. This is a fully remote, part-time role, approximately 10 hours per week to start, with potential to grow as needs evolve.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books and records across multiple LLCs. 
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries for each entity.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis. 
  • Liaise with CEO’s Executive Assistant to process and record invoices, track vendor payments, and expense reports across entities. 
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 
  • Ensure proper intercompany accounting and eliminate intercompany transactions where applicable. 
  • Categorize and maintain transactions in QuickBooks, with separate company files or classes per entity as needed. 
  • Coordinate with external CPAs and tax advisors for quarterly estimates, K-1 preparation, W9s to contractors, and other year-end filings. 
  • Maintain organized digital records and support audit readiness. 
  • Track personal and entity-level expenses to support tax planning and deduction optimization.
  • Liaise with Legal Advisor, as needed, for LLC Q&A


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • At least 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably supporting a high net worth individuals, multi-entity structures, or a start up founder
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP. 
  • Familiarity with LLC structures.
  • Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality. 
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, prioritize across entities, and meet deadlines. 
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and willinging to learn emerging AI technologies to optimize backoffice and accounting & finance support
  • Reliable internet connection and a secure home office setup.
  • Based in the United States


Nice to Have
Experience in a family office, private wealth, start ups, or personal business management firm. Knowledge of QuickBooks integrations such as bill pay platforms, document management tools, or reporting dashboards.


Details
This is a fully remote, part-time Contractor role starting at approximately 10 hours per week, starting ASAP, with flexibility in scheduling. A high degree of confidentiality and professionalism is required.
