Summary
To faithfully support the mission of Samaritan Ministries by providing dependable technical support, configuration, and data management within HubSpot CRM and its integrated systems. This role ensures accurate, clean, and well-maintained data while resolving support requests, troubleshooting issues, and implementing practical technical solutions that enable internal teams to serve members effectively. The HubSpot Technical Support Specialist contributes to system integrity, operational efficiency, and automation efforts, while developing technical expertise in CRM administration, problem-solving, and workflow optimization in support of the ministry’s work.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain HubSpot CRM properties, forms, and workflows under guidance from senior team members.
- Support data entry and migration; ensure accuracy within HubSpot CRM and connected integrations.
- Handle internal tickets and requests related to HubSpot troubleshooting and configuration.
- Assist in setting up automation processes for customer success, marketing, and sales activities.
- Monitor HubSpot performance and troubleshoot basic technical issues; escalate complex problems as needed.
- Maintain data integrity through regular audits and cleanup tasks.
- Assist with integration setup between HubSpot and third-party tools (e.g., email, analytics, reporting platforms).
- Generate and customize dashboards and reports to track KPIs and campaign performance.
- Learn and apply HubSpot best practices for CRM optimization and automation.
- Participate in training sessions to gain technical certifications and expand HubSpot expertise.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- Coursework in CRM systems, marketing automation, or data management preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a CRM support, marketing operations, or technical support role required.
- Familiarity with HubSpot CRM, and basic understanding of marketing automation and CRM concepts required.
- Exposure to data migration, workflow automation, or integration setup preferred.
- Preferred Certifications: HubSpot Marketing Software Certification, HubSpot Sales Software Certification, HubSpot Reporting Certification, Google Analytics Certification (for reporting and analytics exposure), and Basic HTML/CSS training (for email template customization).
- Knowledge of HubSpot CRM fundamentals (properties, forms)
- Knowledge of Data management principles (data entry, migration, integrity)
- Knowledge of marketing automation concepts and CRM workflows
- Knowledge of reporting fundamentals (creating dashboards, interpreting KPIs).
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customization
- Conceptual understanding of integrations and APIs
- Good customer service mindset for internal stakeholders and clear communication with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrates strong technical curiosity to evaluate and implement system integrations and automation opportunities
- Learning agility to acquire HubSpot certifications and advanced features
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and Attention to detail for data accuracy and system integrity
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and apply them effectively
- Ability to do basic troubleshooting for HubSpot configurations
- Ability to manage time well and able to prioritize support tickets
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve system-related problems
- Ability to think analytically for data interpretation and workflow optimization

Additional Information
- Tasks are normally conducted in a regular office environment, requiring use of computer, mouse, drawing tablet, and other standard office equipment.
- Staff will observe safety principles while performing the duties of the position.
- Staff may be required to travel and have a valid driver’s license.
- May need to lift and move items up to 35 lbs. on occasion.
- This position requires an active commitment to the mission and values of SMI. In the course of performing job duties, the employee will act in a manner that is Christ-honoring as well as Christ-like, demonstrating a personal Christian faith and witness in all interpersonal interactions.
Pay Range: $61,600-$91,100 Starting pay usually falls within the lower half of the pay range and is determined by experience, skills, and education.
